This is the back of beyond. Dirt Central. 50 km from Delhi and a world away.

Basically home to tons of quarries (mostly illegal), this place has a severe dearth of roads, but lotsa places to climb, dirt track, race around and click pics.

There's a lake around for the hygrologically inclined :)

Route

From Delhi: Take suraj kund route. go on to badkhal, carry on forth. 2km onwards you get turn to right. Take it.

10km later, you get turn for mangar village. almost opposite it is a petrol pump.

descend into mangar and move out. this is the fun route.

Please note that after mangar, at the hill, you get a left to the lake, the first left before the lake takes you into some kickass quarries, but not fit for rock climbing. Which is better done by parking bikes close to camp wild (bherry expensive food - just park bikes at the lake culvert and walk up the rocks

From FBD: There is a boring route from fbd-sohna route, when you reach dhauj village, just before the petrol pump, take a right, and keep asking for camp wild(the resort)/manger/lake. you will get there on broken brick track.

From Gurgaon: It is on the fbd-gaon route, some 20-25km from gaon. Turn right where it indicates Mangar

Places to Eat

Good places: None.

Timepass dhabas: Dhauj, Main fbd-ggn road after Mangar village - there are some dhabas. Overall avoidable.
